Airbus Wins One of Largest Orders on Record – 292 Aircraft

European headquartered aircraft manufacturer Airbus has won one of its biggest orders on record – 4 Chinese Airlines have ordered 292 aircraft which list for US$37 billion.

China Eastern Airlines – 100 Airbus A320neoChina Southern Airlines – 96 A320neo with an additional 19 A320neos the carrier will lease (aircraft will be delivered from 2024 to 2027)Air China – 64 A320neo (delivered from 2023 to 2027)Shenzhen Airline – 32 A320neo (delivered from 2024 to 2026)

In line with the announcements Airbus has indicated that it plans to ramp up production of the Airbus A320 to 75 a month by 2025.
