Latvia, Europe’s, Flag Carrier Air Baltic has announced that it will finance a significant part of the airBaltic Pilot Academy student studies.

Air Baltic has a fleet of 34 Airbus A220 with another 17 on order – as well as its own Pilot Training Academy.

airBaltic Pilot Academy has improved the payment structure for its commercial pilot study program; Students of the airBaltic Pilot Academy will now have to cover the costs of studies until obtaining a private pilot licence, costing approximately EUR 15 000. After passing airBaltic pilot assessment and becoming an employee of the company, the airline will provide financing for the rest of the studies. The total cost of the program is around 79 000 euro.

airBaltic Pilot Academy is located in Riga, Latvia and operates a training infrastructure which includes Diamond DA40, Diamond DA42, Diamond FNPT II and CAE Airbus A220 Full Flight Simulator.
