Airline Owned Emirates Flight Training Academy is Seeking Vice President – Training in 2024

Dubai, UAE – Emirates Flight Training Academy (EFTA), one of the world's premier flight training organizations, is seeking a seasoned and strategic Vice President (VP) of EFTA Training to spearhead the development and delivery of its extensive flight training programs. This role is crucial for managing and overseeing all training activities, ensuring compliance with the stringent standards of Emirates Airline and regulatory bodies such as the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, implementation, and management of all training programs.
• Ensure training programs meet Emirates Airline standards and comply with GCAA and EASA regulations.
• Lead and mentor the training team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Over 12 years of experience in Flight Operations with requisite training and management expertise.
• Must hold or have held a Flight Instructor qualification or qualifications such as Type Rating Instructor, Type Rating Examiner, Synthetic Flight Instructor, or Synthetic Flight Examiner.
• Demonstrated aviation management and leadership expertise along with a professional pilot license (ATPL) and associated ratings or certificates issued by Part-FCL.
• Experience in dealing with regulatory authorities at a managerial level and a strong working knowledge of Part-FCL regulations.
