Jordan – Amman-based Jordan Airline Training & Simulation (JATS) expects its new CAE Airbus A320neo/ceo full-flight simulator to arrive in early August 2026, providing the first delivery timeline since the device order was announced. The arrival will move JATS closer to expanding A320-family training capacity for Royal Jordanian and third-party airline customers.

CAE announced the simulator agreement on 15 July 2026.
JATS began the procurement process publicly in January 2025, when it issued a request for proposals covering one A320ceo/neo full-flight simulator. The expected August arrival therefore comes approximately 19 months after the procurement notice.
The new device will be JATS’ first CAE-built Airbus A320 FFS and its second A320-family simulator. Its existing Thales-manufactured A320-200ceo FFS was introduced in 2007.
Once the new simulator enters service, JATS’ confirmed full-flight simulator inventory will comprise two A320-family devices and one CAE-built Embraer E190-E2 FFS.
The A320neo/ceo capability is intended to support Royal Jordanian’s transition to newer A320-family aircraft while allowing JATS to offer training across current-engine-option and new-engine-option configurations.
Royal Jordanian acquired full ownership of JATS in 2023.
