Airways Aviation Group Refocuses on High-Growth International Markets

November 5, 2026

Global - The Airways Aviation Group announces the recent sale of Airways Aviation Italy, incorporating its wholly owned and operated Professione Volare aviation training facilities in Forlì and Milan, as part of the final phase of the Group’s broader strategic divestment from the European, North and West African markets and its pivot towards the Middle East, the Indian Subcontinent and the Asia-Pacific markets.

This strategic realignment reflects the Group’s commitment to optimising resources, strengthening its operational focus and accelerating growth across its remaining core markets, where the business continues to deliver solid year-on-year growth.

Airways Aviation Group will continue to own and operate its aviation training activities across the Middle East, India, Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, with an increased focus on expanding its existing facilities, enhancing operational capacity and capitalising on emerging opportunities in these dynamic markets.

“From a global perspective, the bulk of demand and growth in the aviation training industry will continue to come from the East and the Global South, with many BRICS nations and their expanding membership demonstrating particularly strong demand. We believe that the East and the Global South will rank among the strongest and most consistent regions for future opportunities for our Group,” says Romy Hawatt, Founder and Chairman of Airways Aviation Group.

Airways Aviation remains focused on building a stronger, more agile and growth-oriented international aviation training business, positioning its operations to capture the long-term opportunities arising from increasing demand for professional aviation training across its targeted existing and emerging markets.
