Airworks Aviation Academy Partners with Indian Academy to Expand 2026 India-Philippines Pilot Training Links

Philippines & India – Airworks Aviation Academy, a Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP)-approved flight training organisation based in Cebu, has signed a partnership with India's Poetic Pilot Academy, a pilot ground training and career preparation provider. The agreement connects Airworks' practical flight training operations in the Philippines with Poetic Pilot Academy's Indian pilot training and student support activities.

• Airworks operates a fleet of more than 24 training aircraft at Mactan-Cebu International Airport, while Poetic Pilot Academy maintains two training centres in New Delhi and Bengaluru, providing a combination of overseas flight training capacity and India-based theoretical preparation.
• Poetic Pilot Academy provides DGCA Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) ground classes, ATPL theoretical instruction, airline selection preparation and guidance on overseas flight school admissions. Its existing student support services include assistance with foreign CPL conversion requirements, documentation and aviation medical certification.
• The partnership links Poetic Pilot Academy's Indian student network with Airworks' integrated and modular flight training offerings, including CPL, Instrument Rating and Multi-Engine Rating training.
• AFM previously reported that Airworks was training more than 250 students from over 30 countries in January 2025, with the academy identifying India among the international markets targeted for future expansion.
• Airworks' training fleet includes Cessna 152 II, Cessna 172, Beechcraft Baron 58 and Piper Seneca II aircraft, supported by flight simulation facilities for procedural and instrument training.
