20th Jan 2023

Philippines largest pilot and aviation training organisation, Alpha Aviation Group (AAG) International Center for Aviation Training (AICAT) Maintenance Training Center (MTC) recently won the bid to provide a supplemental proficiency program (SPP) for aeronautical engineering students of the Holy Angel University (HAU).

A total of 329 trainees are set to undergo the SPP which focuses on Cessna C172 engine familiarization, ground run-up and actual taxi exercises. The program also features lessons on basic flight controls and maneuvering using an ALSIM AL200 simulator.

“HAU is dedicated to its mission and committed to preparing you (aeronautical engineering students) for your future career. We make certain that we work with the right training provider capable of giving you sufficient theoretical learning and industry practice exposure that will enable you to satisfy the knowledge requirements for your course subject,” underscored Dr. Al Biag (HAU Vice President for Academic Affairs) during the ceremonial signing of the training agreement at the HAU campus on 18 January 2023.

In his response, Capt. Napoleon Garcia (Accountable Manager, AICAT – AMO) expressed AAG’s sincerest gratitude and assured HAU the delivery of top-of-class training anchored on the Group’s core values of service excellence, teamwork and customer satisfaction.
