Philippines – Alpha Aviation Group (AAG) welcomed four new pilot trainees as Batch 89 on September 29, 2026, continuing student intake activity across its expanding Philippine ab-initio training operation. The intake follows AAG’s September marketing of its Integrated PPL-CPL-IR pathway and comes as the group develops additional training capacity across Clark, La Union and Cebu.
- The new intake follows the September 19 graduation of 12 pilots from AAG’s Airline Pilot Program and First Officer Transition programs.
- AAG’s Philippine training network is now structured around three principal hubs. Clark supports ground school, Full Flight Simulator and advanced training activity; San Fernando Airport in La Union supports ab-initio flying; and AAG Central at Bantayan Island, Cebu is being developed as an additional flight-training location.
- The group broke ground on its two-site AAG Central development in Cebu during September 2026, comprising an integrated training facility and a hangar at Santa Fe Airport. The expansion builds on AAG’s opening of a Flight Training Hub on Bantayan Island earlier in the year.
- AAG Philippines also provides Airbus A320 and A330 training from Clark. Its current CAAP Aviation Training Organization certificate includes A320 and A330 type-rating courses, ATPL theory, Synthetic Flight Instructor training and cross-crew qualification programs.
