France & USA – French flight simulator manufacturer ALSIM has completed operator training for personnel from Ohio-based flight training provider Midwest Corporate Air at its headquarters near Nantes, France. The training focused on the school's ALSR G7 simulator and supports its use in Cirrus pilot training programs in the United States.

  • The training covered one ALSIM ALSR G7 simulator previously acquired by Midwest Corporate Air. ALSIM confirmed that the visiting team completed the manufacturer-led training and is prepared to operate the device.
  • The training forms part of ALSIM's customer support activities, which include instruction at its French headquarters to familiarize simulator operators with their equipment ahead of training delivery.
  • Midwest Corporate Air, an Authorized Cirrus Training Center based in Bellefontaine, Ohio, offers instrument rating and instructor training using Cirrus aircraft and simulation equipment. Its published Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) course includes up to eight hours of training on the ALSR G7.
  • The ALSR G7 replicates the Cirrus SR Series G7 cockpit and supports three aircraft configurations within one device: SR20, SR22 and SR22T. It incorporates the Cirrus Perspective Touch+ avionics suite by Garmin, including original Garmin flight deck hardware, and supports simulation of the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS) for emergency procedure training.
  • AFM previously reported that Midwest Corporate Air selected the ALSIM ALSR G7 in January 2026, before taking delivery of the device in April 2026.
