Cyprus Flight simulator manufacturer ALSIM has highlighted its upgrade and lifecycle-support services following a software update to CAFA Flying Training Center’s ALX simulator in Cyprus.

  • CAFA operates one ALSIM ALX FNPT II alongside Aquila AT-01, Diamond DA40 and Tecnam P2006T training aircraft.
  • ALSIM identified hardware compatibility, software enhancements, certification support, maintenance, spare-parts replacement, remote assistance and on-site technical visits as components of its simulator support offering.
  • The ALX can support up to seven flight-model configurations, covering single-engine piston, multi-engine piston, light turboprop, light jet and medium jet training.
  • ALSIM has also completed recent lifecycle-support projects involving simulator relocation and regulatory re-certification. These included an AL250 relocation for Flight One Australia and the relocation of two AL250 devices for Egnatia Aviation in Greece.
