France – flight simulator manufacturer ALSIM has hosted representatives from the Civil Aviation Academy of Kazakhstan at its headquarters in France for refresher training on the academy’s ALX simulator.
- The ALX can represent up to four aircraft classes within one device: single-engine piston, twin-engine piston, twin-turboprop and medium-category twin-jet configurations. ALSIM markets the platform for training including PPL, CPL, single- and multi-engine instrument ratings and MCC.
- The Civil Aviation Academy of Kazakhstan selected its ALX in 2019. At the time of the purchase, the academy had already operated an AL200MCC simulator for several years, indicating that the ALX expanded an existing synthetic training capability.
- AFM previously reported that ALSIM’s simulator portfolio supports training from entry-level phases through APS MCC and that the manufacturer had more than 400 devices installed and certified across over 60 countries as of March 2025.
