Australia – flight simulator manufacturer ALSIM has installed its second Airliner-series simulator in Autralia, this time at SFC Pilot Academy's Tamworth base. Sydney Flight College (SFC Australia), is a flight training group operating dual bases in New South Wales.

The Airliner can convert between Boeing 737 MAX and Airbus A320 flight deck configurations in approximately five minutes, enabling multi-type airline training on a single device. The simulator supports Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) training, teaching students to operate as a team on an airliner flight deck and preparing them for airline operations sooner.

SFC's strategic positioning of Tamworth is partly driven by the anticipated impact of Western Sydney Airport's opening, which is expected to push training airspace away from SFC's Bankstown home base. Tamworth provides a dedicated training airspace hedge with over 300 flying days per year and purpose-built facilities.

Check out a video of the installation found here.
