India - France-based flight simulator manufacturer ALSIM has expanded its presence in the Indian pilot training market with the installation of a new AL250 simulator at Orient Flights, a flight training organization headquartered in Chennai.

  • The newly installed ALSIM AL250 simulator joins an existing AL250 already in operation at Orient Flights’ training facilities.
  • The addition expands the academy’s simulator-based training capacity, supporting pilot training across multiple licence levels.
  • The AL250 platform supports training from Private Pilot Licence (PPL) through Multi-Engine ratings, enabling flight schools to deliver a broad range of procedural and instrument training scenarios.
  • The simulator supports both Single-Engine Piston (SEP) and Multi-Engine Piston (MEP) configurations, with the option of analog and glass cockpit layouts.
  • ALSIM noted that more than 125 AL250 simulators are currently deployed worldwide, making the device a widely adopted training solution among flight schools.
