Another UK Flight School Ordered into Liquidation in 2025

November 14, 2025

United Kingdom – Go Fly Oxford, a flight training organisation previously providing Private Pilot Licence (PPL) and Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) training at Oxford Airport, has entered liquidation following the appointment of joint liquidators Colin Wilson and Emma Mifsud of Opus Restructuring & Insolvency. The company will be formally wound down, ending its training activities at one of the UK’s key general aviation airports.

  • The published statement of affairs shows a £230,621 deficiency for creditors, which includes outstanding liabilities to employees, HMRC, and Oxford Airport.
  • The liquidation brings an abrupt close to Go Fly Oxford’s operations and creates further disruption for affected students, who will now need to transfer training to alternative UK ATOs—adding pressure to an already capacity-constrained segment of the pilot training market.
