Ansett Aviation Training Highlights India Market Engagement at Aviation India Summit 2026

India – Australia-headquartered full flight simulator training centre operator Ansett Aviation Training has reaffirmed its focus on the Indian pilot training market, with CEO Mark Delany visiting India during the Aviation INDIA and South Asia Summit & Exhibition 2026 in New Delhi. The engagement provides an opportunity to strengthen existing relationships with Indian airlines and training organisations and discuss future pilot training requirements.

• Ansett Aviation Training has welcomed hundreds of Indian pilots to its training centres across Australia, the United Arab Emirates and Italy over the years, according to Delany.
• The Aviation INDIA and South Asia Summit & Exhibition 2026 is taking place on 3–4 November at the JW Marriott Hotel in New Delhi Aerocity, bringing together airline executives, aviation training providers and other industry stakeholders.
• AFM previously reported that Ansett Aviation Training had delivered more than 140 Airbus A320 type ratings for the IndiGo Cadet Pilot program through its Melbourne training centre. During 2026, the group has also expanded its India-focused training activities, with Indian pilots receiving DGCA licence endorsements following A320 type rating training in Dubai and Ansett Aviation Italia commencing its first Indian DGCA-aligned Boeing 737NG type rating course in Milan.
