Asian Airline Expands A350-1000 Fleet with New Airbus Order in December 2025

Taiwan -China Airlines, a full-service airline operating extensive international passenger and cargo services, has confirmed a firm order for five additional Airbus A350-1000 aircraft. This latest order brings the airline's total A350-1000 commitments to 15 units, further strengthening its long-haul fleet strategy and enhancing intercontinental capabilities.

  • China Airlines will operate 15 A350-1000s alongside its current fleet of 15 A350-900s, signalling a consistent long-haul fleet modernisation plan centered around the Airbus A350 platform.
  • Airbus confirmed the growing market demand for the A350 family, which has secured nearly 1,500 orders from 66 customers worldwide as of November 2025.
