Taiwan - China Airlines, a full-service airline operating extensive international passenger and cargo services, has confirmed a firm order for five additional Airbus A350-1000 aircraft. This latest order brings the airline's total A350-1000 commitments to 15 units, further strengthening its long-haul fleet strategy and enhancing intercontinental capabilities.
China Airlines will operate 15 A350-1000s alongside its current fleet of 15 A350-900s, signalling a consistent long-haul fleet modernisation plan centered around the Airbus A350 platform.
Airbus confirmed the growing market demand for the A350 family, which has secured nearly 1,500 orders from 66 customers worldwide as of November 2025.
