Taipei, Taiwan – One of the countries largest airline groups, EVA Airways Corp. has expanded its training capabilities with the acquisition of two new full-flight simulators (FFS) from CAE, a global leader in aviation training solutions. The new simulators, which will enhance pilot training, include models for the Airbus A350 and Boeing 787.
The Airbus A350 and Boeing 787 FFS will be housed at EVA Air’s state-of-the-art Training Centre in Taipei.These new additions will operate alongside EVA Air’s existing fleet of CAE-manufactured FFS for Boeing 777, Airbus A330, and ATR 72-600 aircraft.EVA Air’s training facility also includes CAE’s A320 and Boeing 777 flight training devices (FTD) and a Boeing 787 integrated procedures trainer (IPT).
