Asian Airline Group Acquires 2 New Widebody Full Flight Simulators (A350 and B787) from CAE
Taipei, Taiwan – One of the countries largest airline groups, EVA Airways Corp. has expanded its training capabilities with the acquisition of two new full-flight simulators (FFS) from CAE, a global leader in aviation training solutions. The new simulators, which will enhance pilot training, include models for the Airbus A350 and Boeing 787.
- The Airbus A350 and Boeing 787 FFS will be housed at EVA Air’s state-of-the-art Training Centre in Taipei.
- These new additions will operate alongside EVA Air’s existing fleet of CAE-manufactured FFS for Boeing 777, Airbus A330, and ATR 72-600 aircraft.
- EVA Air’s training facility also includes CAE’s A320 and Boeing 777 flight training devices (FTD) and a Boeing 787 integrated procedures trainer (IPT).
