Philippines – Philippine Airlines (PAL), the Philippines' flag carrier, has extended support to 85 graduating scholars from the National Aviation Academy of the Philippines (NAAP) — formerly the Philippine State College of Aeronautics (PhilSCA) — through its Share the Care Award Program, coinciding with the airline's 85th anniversary and forming part of a structured talent development initiative connecting aviation education to airline employment pathways.

Each scholar receives 30,000 Mabuhay Miles to fund travel tied to training, certification, or industry exposure, and is tagged as a "PAL Priority Candidate" — providing streamlined access to job opportunities within the airline.
The programme also includes a Masterclass Series offering mentorship sessions led by PAL executives across operational areas including flight operations and aircraft maintenance — providing NAAP graduates with direct access to airline-level technical and operational expertise as they enter the workforce.
NAAP was established under legislation signed into law in September 2025, rebranding the Philippine State College of Aeronautics as the country's national professional institution for aviation, mandated to elevate civil and military aviation education and training across both private and public sectors including the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
The partnership directly supports PAL's long-term recruitment pipeline by identifying and supporting high-potential aviation graduates at the institutional level — before they enter the open labour market — addressing the sustained pilot and aviation professional supply challenge facing Philippine carriers as the country's aviation sector continues to expand.
