Assessment Provider Symbiotics Advances Partnership with Sevenair Academy Following 2-Day Site Visit

Portugal – Symbiotics, a UK-based provider of psychometric assessment solutions for pilot and cabin crew selection, has conducted a two-day on-site visit to Sevenair Academy — one of Portugal's largest pilot training organisations — to deepen its understanding of the academy's training ecosystem, discuss partnership opportunities, and meet with both Sevenair's management team and an Airbus team simultaneously present on campus.

• The Symbiotics delegation included Hannah Davies, Caroline Creane and Klara Jirakova who toured Sevenair's training academy and student campus facilities, observing the school operating at full capacity with students across the site — a reflection of the academy's active intake volumes following its 2025 growth push and Airbus partnership announcement.
• The visit focused on three areas of collaboration: understanding Sevenair's training ecosystem and cadet experience framework; exploring Sevenair's data-driven approach to training decision-making; and identifying opportunities for Symbiotics' psychometric assessment tools to contribute to Sevenair's selection and development processes.
• The presence of an Airbus team on campus during the same visit underlines the depth of Sevenair's industry partnership activity — the academy strengthened its Airbus partnership in 2025 and has continued to develop that relationship as a core element of its strategic growth plan under new CEO Martim Sacavém, appointed in January 2026.
• Symbiotics' ADAPT suite is used by airlines, training organisations, and regulators worldwide to support evidence-based aviation recruitment and training decisions — with Sevenair's emphasis on data-supported decision-making directly aligned with the assessment-led approach Symbiotics provides.
