ATP Hosts Avelo Flight Operations Briefing for Georgia Pilot Trainees in July 2026

Georgia, USA – US flight training group ATP Flight School hosted Avelo Airlines flight operations executive Scott Hall at its Falcon Field Training Center in Peachtree City for a meeting with students and instructors in July 2026.

• ATP’s Avelo Airlines Career Track allows recommended flight instructors to interview with the carrier after reaching between 1,000 and 1,500 total flight hours. Candidates who complete Avelo’s selection process can receive a conditional employment offer and continue instructing with ATP until reaching 1,500 hours.
• Before transitioning to Avelo, selected pilots must independently complete a two-week jet-transition programme incorporating ATP CTP training and Boeing 737 full-motion simulator experience.
• Hall discussed Avelo’s flight operations with students and instructors during the visit.
• ATP’s Falcon Field operation is located at Atlanta Regional Airport in Peachtree City and provides Airline Career Pilot, flexible commercial pilot, multi-engine and maintenance-related training activity. It forms part of ATP’s network of 87 US training centres.
• Avelo placed a firm order for 50 Embraer E195-E2 aircraft with purchase rights for another 50 in September 2025. While the original order announcement targeted deliveries from 2027, the airline’s more recent corporate material states that E195-E2 operations are now planned to begin in 2028.
