Australian Flight School Adelaide Aviation Takes Delivery of 2 Tecnam P-Mentor Trainers in 2026

Australia – Adelaide Aviation has selected the Tecnam P-Mentor as its primary training aircraft and will take immediate delivery of two units through Australian representative Hallmarc Aviation. The additions will expand the academy’s fleet to 13 aircraft and provide a common platform for ab initio, commercial and instrument training.

  • The two aircraft will be based at Adelaide Aviation’s operation at Parafield Airport in South Australia.
  • Adelaide Aviation operates with nine flight instructors and serves domestic and international students pursuing private, commercial and airline pilot careers.
  • The P-Mentor is a two-seat, low-wing trainer powered by a 100 hp Rotax 912iSc3 engine and equipped with a Garmin G3X Touch flight deck, constant-speed propeller and simulated retractable landing-gear functionality.
  • The aircraft is certified for IFR operations under EASA CS-23 and FAA Part 23 standards and is designed to support private pilot, commercial pilot and instrument-rating training on a single-engine platform.
  • Tecnam publishes a maximum range of 950 nautical miles, endurance of up to nine hours and 30 minutes and fuel consumption of approximately 15 litres per hour.
  • The transaction was facilitated by Hallmarc Aviation, which provides Tecnam aircraft sales and support across South Australia, Victoria, Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
