Australian Flight Training Group SFC Australia Launches First Flight Instructor Rating Diploma in Tamworth

Tamworth, Australia– SFC (Sydney Flight College) Pilot Academy has launched its inaugural Flight Instructor Rating (FIR) Diploma program, welcoming a cohort of Commercial Pilot Licence graduates.

 In 2023, SFC launched its pilot academy in Tamworth, its second Australian airbase  and recorded the following metrics:

295 new students104 graduated students15,250 recorded flight hours40 aircraft40 instructors, 12 of which joined in 2023 while 10 long standing instructors moved into airline roles
