Australia’s FTA Appoints 2025 Manager of Flight Training to Oversee Airline Cadet Program

Australia– Flight Training Adelaide (FTA) has appointed Bailey Armstrong as Manager of Flight Training (MFT) – Cathay Pacific. This new leadership role follows his impactful tenure as Deputy Manager of Flight Training & Course Coordinator – UniSA.

In September 2022 Hong Kong’s Flag CarrierCathay Pacific relaunched its Cadet Pilot Programme in collaboration with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The flight training component of the cadet pilot programme is done in Australia or the United States.

Flight Trainign Adelaide is headquartered at Parafield Airport, South Australia, and operates over 70 aircraft across both Parafield and Wellcamp sites in Australia.
