Slovenia – Aviation Career Center (ACC) Slovenia, an EASA-approved training organisation, has obtained and successfully certified a new ALSIM AL250 FNPT II flight simulator, which is now fully operational at the academy and designated primarily for Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (IR) training.
- The ALSIM AL250, manufactured by French simulation specialist ALSIM, enables highly realistic and efficient instrument flight training across multiple training scenarios including IFR procedures and navigation, instrument approaches, abnormal and emergency scenarios, and advanced cockpit resource management.
- The simulator integration strengthens ACC Slovenia's training infrastructure and expands the scope of its programme offerings, providing students with access to modern simulation technology that closely replicates real-world IFR operations. The device supports training safety, scheduling flexibility, and learning efficiency by enabling structured instrument training in a controlled environment.
- The ALSIM AL250 addition complements ACC Slovenia's broader infrastructure development. The academy recently launched its first 0-ATPL/A320 Cadet Program with 10 international students commencing training in March 2026, and has adopted FlightLogger as its main training management system to streamline operations.
- ACC Slovenia has also announced a scholarship-backed EASA-certified pilot training programme for students from underdeveloped countries, offering a 23% scholarship — reflecting the academy's strategy of combining infrastructure investment with international student pipeline development.
