Global – Aviation training technology provider RAeroLLC has detailed its approach to building configurable eLearning, WebXR and immersive training content around individual airline and training-organisation requirements, including operator branding, fleet configuration and procedures. RAero is also positioning client ownership of completed training content as part of its commercial model.
- RAero’s current aircraft library covers 12 aircraft types:
- Airbus A320, A330 and A350;
- Boeing 737NG, 737 MAX, 747-400, 757, 767, 777 and 787; and
- Embraer 195 and ERJ 145.
- RAero states that its development resources support more than 70 languages and access to more than 13 million image assets, allowing customers to specify training format, language and level of immersion.
- The company says training can be customised around an operator’s aircraft fleet, livery, colours, branding and procedures rather than relying solely on standardised off-the-shelf courseware.
- RAero’s current portfolio spans aircraft systems CBT/eLearning, Flight DeckXR familiarisation, browser-based WebXR checklist and procedure training, interactive aircraft-system diagrams, a general-subject library, FMS training and cabin crew training.
- The company positions WebXR as a way of delivering interactive cockpit and procedure training through a browser, including on standard computers and tablets as well as compatible VR/XR headsets. Its checklist and preflight modules can be adjusted to individual airline SOPs and FCOM procedures.
- RAero also offers aircraft-specific exterior inspection content, 2D/3D representations of flight decks, cabins and hangars, fleet-differences material, microlearning and initial, recurrent and requalification courseware, according to the company.
- Client content ownership is a central part of RAero’s current positioning. Its website states that customers can retain control of purchased training content and subsequently update, customise and manage that material rather than remaining dependent on the original vendor.
- RAero’s general-subject library currently includes more than 30 courses together with an Airbus A320 Flight Management System Trainer. The library covers areas including CRM and human factors, aviation regulations, meteorology, navigation, aviation security and safety management.
- AFM previously reported that RAeroLLC launched its wider aviation training ecosystem in July 2026, combining CBT, XR/VR familiarisation, WebXR procedure training, interactive diagrams and cabin crew and maintenance content. AFM subsequently reported in August that RAero and ASTEKS expanded the A320 FMS Trainer with aircraft-performance, flight-guidance and continuous flight-path modelling, with A330, 737, 777 and 787 trainers identified for future development.
