Aviation Industry Association of New Zealand Hosts Annual Aviation Function at New Zealand Parliament

New Zealand - Aviation Industry Association of New Zealand successfully hosted its annual Parliamentary Event, bringing together industry leaders and key political figures to discuss aviation sector priorities and developments.

  • The event was hosted by NZ First MP Andy Foster, who expressed interest in a potential Select Committee inquiry into aviation.
  • James Meager MP, the new Associate Minister of Transport, emphasized the Government’s commitment to regional connectivity and the development of a National Policy Statement for aviation.
  • AIANZ President Ashok Poduval outlined the Association’s key focus areas, including funding models, Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand performance, district and regional planning, and training and development initiatives.
