Aviation Industry Association of New Zealand Hosts Annual Aviation Function at New Zealand Parliament

New Zealand– Aviation Industry Association of New Zealand successfully hosted its annual Parliamentary Event, bringing together industry leaders and key political figures to discuss aviation sector priorities and developments.

The event was hosted by NZ First MP Andy Foster, who expressed interest in a potential Select Committee inquiry into aviation.James Meager MP, the new Associate Minister of Transport, emphasized the Government’s commitment to regional connectivity and the development of a National Policy Statement for aviation.AIANZ President Ashok Poduval outlined the Association’s key focus areas, including funding models, Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand performance, district and regional planning, and training and development initiatives.
