Global– Astrom Training Solutions has unveiled a new module within its Galaxy Training Management System (TMS): the Recurrent Training Plan (RTP), designed to simplify and automate the complex management of recurrent training for airlines and aviation training organizations.
- The RTP module introduces a generic recurrency calculation engine, capable of managing diverse qualification cycles including pilot airport qualifications, maintenance engineer authorizations, and instructor certifications.
- Training activities such as online courses, assessments, instructor-led classes, simulator checks, and line checks can be organized into structured training paths with clear dependencies and prerequisites.
- The module integrates directly with Quality Management Systems (QMS), ensuring alignment with Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations and IOSA requirements.
- By linking certification directly to training activities, RTP delivers real-time tracking of recurrency status, simplifying compliance oversight and ensuring consistent regulatory alignment.
- One of the key features highlighted is the audit readiness capability: instead of weeks of preparation, training departments will be able to generate complete audit reports in minutes.
