Global – Astrom Training Solutions has unveiled a new module within its Galaxy Training Management System (TMS): the Recurrent Training Plan (RTP), designed to simplify and automate the complex management of recurrent training for airlines and aviation training organizations.
The RTP module introduces a generic recurrency calculation engine, capable of managing diverse qualification cycles including pilot airport qualifications, maintenance engineer authorizations, and instructor certifications.
Training activities such as online courses, assessments, instructor-led classes, simulator checks, and line checks can be organized into structured training paths with clear dependencies and prerequisites.
The module integrates directly with Quality Management Systems (QMS), ensuring alignment with Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations and IOSA requirements.
By linking certification directly to training activities, RTP delivers real-time tracking of recurrency status, simplifying compliance oversight and ensuring consistent regulatory alignment.
One of the key features highlighted is the audit readiness capability: instead of weeks of preparation, training departments will be able to generate complete audit reports in minutes.
