Europe – Avincis, Europe's largest emergency aerial services operator, has signed a contract with Airbus Helicopters for up to 15 H145 helicopters to strengthen its operational presence across the Nordics, Italy, and Spain for Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) and offshore transportation missions.

  • The contract covers deployment across Avincis' existing base network in multiple European territories. The H145 will support both life-saving EMS operations and specialized offshore wind and energy transport requirements.
  • The H145 is a twin-engine helicopter powered by two Safran Arriel 2E engines, equipped with full authority digital engine control (FADEC) and the Helionix digital avionics suite. The aircraft features a 4-axis autopilot and is characterized as the quietest helicopter in its class with the lowest CO2 emissions among competitors in its category.
  • There are currently more than 1,800 H145 family helicopters in service globally, with a cumulative total exceeding 8.5 million flight hours.
  • Avincis operates a fleet of more than 220 aircraft with a workforce of over 2,400 professionals, including pilots, crews, and technicians, across bases in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Norway, Sweden, and Finland, as well as operations in Mozambique and Chile.
