Aviomar Flight Academy Welcomes Eight APS MCC Students for Boeing 737 Training

Italy – Aviomar Flight Academy has welcomed eight students into its September 2026 Airline Pilot Standards Multi-Crew Cooperation (APS MCC) course, with the group including Ryanair Future Flyer Academy cadets.

• Aviomar's APS MCC course provides 40 hours on a Boeing 737-800W-based simulator and is scheduled over approximately three to four weeks. The syllabus includes Crew Resource Management, advanced airline-operations scenario training, swept-wing jet training, upset prevention and recovery content and a final assessment.
• Entry requirements for Aviomar's Ryanair Future Flyer Academy APS MCC pathway include an EASA CPL with multi-engine instrument rating, completed EASA ATPL theory and a valid EASA Class 1 medical certificate. The course is delivered under Aviomar's ENAC/EASA Approved Training Organisation certificate IT.ATO.0003.
• The Boeing 737 training is conducted using Aviomar's B737-800W fixed-base simulator capability. The academy currently lists two B737-800W fixed-base simulators within its wider synthetic training fleet, while its Monterotondo facility near Rome serves as its simulator and type-rating training centre.
• Ryanair currently identifies Aviomar as an approved Future Flyer Academy partner for all three principal training routes: Gateway 0 integrated ab-initio, Gateway 1 modular and Gateway 2 APS MCC. For Gateway 2, Ryanair requires candidates to hold a CPL, multi-engine instrument rating and frozen ATPL qualifications before completing APS MCC training at an approved partner school.
• Ryanair states that Future Flyer Academy graduates receive a conditional job offer at enrolment, a final airline assessment and, subject to successful progression, priority within recruitment and Boeing 737 type-rating allocation. Successful candidates completing the final assessment progress to a B737 Type Rating before airline line operations.
• The latest group follows continuing APS MCC throughput at Aviomar during 2026.
• Aviomar's current simulator directory lists 10 training devices: two B737-800W fixed-base simulators, two Airbus A320 Full Flight Simulators, Cessna Citation III/VII and C510 Mustang Full Flight Simulators, a Learjet 45 Full Flight Simulator, a C510 Mustang IPT and ALSIM ALX 500 and DA42 devices.
