Avion Group Receives First DGCA Approval for A320 Full Flight Simulator at Mumbai's Juhu Airport ATO

India – Avion Group, a Netherlands-headquartered full flight simulator manufacturer and pilot training centre operator, has received approval from India's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for its A320 Full Flight Simulator at Juhu Airport, Mumbai, marking the company's first DGCA-approved simulator and enabling A320 type rating training to be conducted under Indian regulatory standards.

  • The Mumbai centre has installed two Avion Level D A320neo Full Flight Simulators alongside a Simnest A320 FNPT II MCC fixed-base simulator supporting training partner Gen24 FLYBIZ
  • The certification adds Indian regulatory approval to Avion's existing regulatory portfolio, which includes EASA and UK CAA approvals across its European training centre operations.
