Argentina – BA FLIGHT, a civil aviation training organisation based in Morón, Buenos Aires, has taken delivery of the country’s first Tecnam P2006T NG Sport, supplied through Tecnam’s South American distributor Aerotec Argentina.

  • The P2006T NG Sport is the fifth Tecnam aircraft in BA FLIGHT’s fleet, according to Tecnam, joining an operation based around P2002 and P2008 single-engine aircraft.
  • The new P2006T NG Sport will support multi-engine training as well as VFR and IFR cross-country operations. Tecnam describes the four-seat aircraft as a retractable-gear, variable-pitch twin powered by two fuel-injected Rotax 912 iSc3 engines and equipped with Garmin G1000 NXi avionics.
  • Tecnam lists the P2006T NG Sport with 200 hp of combined power, a maximum cruise speed of 148 kt and useful load of 410 kg. The aircraft received EASA type certification as part of the P2006T NG model series in February 2025.
  • Aerotec facilitated the delivery and serves as Tecnam’s regional distributor for South America, with direct operations in Argentina, Chile and Brazil. Aerotec supports more than 400 Tecnam aircraft operating across the region.
