Bangladesh – Flight training provider NXT Air Academy has placed an order for another Bristell B23-915 aircraft from Czech manufacturer BRM Aero, operating under the Bristell brand, as the academy expands its training fleet in response to growing student demand. The order was placed during a visit by NXT representatives to Bristell's manufacturing facility in Kunovice, Czech Republic in October 2026.

  • NXT Air Academy reports operating its existing Bristell training aircraft for 8–10 hours per day, indicating high utilisation of the type within its flight training operations. Bristell reports that the academy has experienced no operational difficulties attributable to Bangladesh's hot climate.
  • The additional B23-915 represents a repeat purchase by NXT Air Academy. The manufacturer previously delivered a B23-915 to the Bangladeshi operator, with aircraft S2-ALC documented at Cox's Bazar Airport in February 2026.
  • According to Bristell, NXT Air Academy has reported increasing student enrollment, with the manufacturer citing student feedback concerning the aircraft's cockpit visibility, handling characteristics and cabin comfort as factors supporting its use for pilot training.
  • NXT's fleet expansion also comes as Bristell develops its presence in India. The manufacturer indicated that NXT is willing to share its operational experience with prospective Indian flight training customers evaluating the aircraft for local conditions.
  • AFM previously reported that Bristell secured Indian DGCA type acceptance for its B23-912iS and B23-916iS variants in July 2026, providing the regulatory basis for the two aircraft variants to be registered and operated in India.
  • The Bristell B23-915 is an EASA CS-23-certified, two-seat, all-metal low-wing aircraft powered by a turbocharged 141 hp Rotax 915 iS engine. The manufacturer's published specifications include a 750 kg maximum takeoff weight, 120-litre fuel capacity, Garmin glass-cockpit avionics and a constant-speed propeller.
