“Barcelona Flight School is an EASA-certified ATO with more than 70 years of experience training Airplane and Helicopter pilots.
Job Description: We are looking for a highly qualified Technical Knowledge and Training Coordinator in Aviation (CTKI) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Aeronautical Engineering or Aeronautical Management, as well as previous experience in training or aviation organizations. This position requires a proactive, multitasking, organized, and flexible individual with a high capacity to adapt to changes and effectively manage the staff under their charge.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage aeronautical training programs, including ATPL and PPL.
- Supervise instructor staff, distributing schedules and adapting to their needs.
- He will coordinate with the Chief Instructor and the Chief Flight Instructor the theoretical, flight and simulator scheduling.
- He will be responsible to the Chief of Instruction for facilitating the approval of the courses and for requesting and controlling the completion of the official examinations of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
- Respond quickly to student inquiries and provide personalized follow-up.
- Maintain empathetic and professional communication with students and other team members.
- Use office automation tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams) for efficient training management.
- Administer training management platforms, such as Moodle, to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the programs.
- Adapt quickly to changes and work in an organized manner in a dynamic environment.
Requirements:
- Degree in Aeronautical Engineering (preferably) or Aeronautical Management.
- Previous experience in training or aviation organizations.
- General knowledge of ATPL/PPL course contents.
- Ability to manage staff and efficiently distribute schedules.
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively to student needs.
- Experience in dealing with the public, with empathy to handle personal cases and provide continuous student follow-up.
- High level of skills in office automation tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams).
- Experience with Moodle or other training program management software is a plus.
- High level of written and spoken English (C1 or equivalent).
- High level of Spanish, written and spoken.”
