Belgium's Aeroclub Brasschaat Expands Bristell Fleet to 3 Aircraft

Belgium – Czech training aircraft manufacturer Bristell Aircraft has announced that Belgian aviation club Aeroclub Brasschaat has selected an additional Bristell B23-912iS, raising its Bristell fleet to three aircraft.

• The B23-912iS is an EASA CS-23-certified, two-seat aircraft powered by a Rotax 912 iS Sport engine. Bristell publishes a fuel consumption figure of 15.1 litres per hour at 75% power, a maximum take-off weight of 750 kg and a useful load of 300 kg.
• The standard avionics configuration includes dual Garmin G3X Touch displays, a Garmin GMC 507 autopilot and ADS-B IN/OUT. The aircraft is certified for Night VFR operations but is not certified for IFR operations; Bristell offers the B23-915 IFR as the instrument-certified variant within the B23 range.
• Aeroclub Brasschaat operates through two affiliated organisations: Motorvliegclub Brasschaat, which conducts powered-aircraft and ULM activity, and Brasschaatse Zweefvliegclub, which conducts glider operations. The motor-flying club states that it holds Belgian ATO approval BE/ATO-325 and provides theoretical and practical training for Private Pilot Licence and ULM qualifications.
• AFM previously reported that the B23-912iS received EASA certification in 2025, extending Bristell’s certified trainer range with a fuel-injected Rotax 912 iS-powered variant.
