Boeing and Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand Collaborate to Deploy CBTA Learning Library Across Thailand's Flight Schools

Thailand – Boeing and the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) have signed a first-of-its-kind collaboration on 1 September 2026 to deploy Boeing's Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) Learning Library across flight training organisations throughout Thailand — the first time a regulator has implemented the CBTA Learning Library across an entire ecosystem. The system-wide adoption of an OEM CBTA learning solution by a national aviation regulator establishes a new implementation model that other Asian and global regulators are now expected to benchmark against, positioning Thailand at the forefront of the broader industry transition toward Competency-Based Training and Assessment, addressing Southeast Asia's projected demand for 66,000 new pilots over the next 20 years.
