Turkiye – Boeing and the Turkiye Airline Pilots' Association (TALPA) hosted a joint aviation career outreach event at the Newton Flight Academy in Istanbul, giving high school students the opportunity to explore career pathways in aviation and experience realistic flight simulators under the guidance of professional pilots.

  • The event provided students with exposure to different career opportunities across the aviation sector, including hands-on time in the pilot's seat using the academy's flight simulators.
  • The initiative is part of Boeing's broader investment in developing the next-generation aviation talent pipeline in Turkiye, supporting the country's rapidly expanding aviation industry through partnerships with organizations such as TALPA and Newton Room.
  • Boeing has been expanding the Newton Flight Academy concept globally. In July 2024, Boeing unveiled the first Newton Flight Academy in Germany, located in Brandenburg, featuring three VirtualFly DUO SIM MEG full-motion flight simulators and a STEM learning laboratory. The Istanbul event represents the academy model's continued extension into key aviation growth markets.
