Boeing Announces Latest Appointment for Managing Director of Boeing Defence India

Boeing has appointed Nikhil Joshi as the Managing Director of Boeing Defence India (BDI) in an effort to strengthen operations and accelerate growth in India.

With over 25 years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry, including service in the Indian armed forces, Joshi will lead current and future programs for BDI, focusing on improving the mission readiness and modernization of India’s defense forces. He will report to Salil Gupte, president of Boeing India and South Asia, and collaborate closely with Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) and Boeing Global Services (BGS).

His wealth of experience and strong leadership will drive our growth strategy in India and strengthen our commitment to continue serving our defence customers in the country,” said Scott Carpendale, vice president, Asia Pacific, Boeing Global Services ‘ Government Services (BGS-GS).
