Boeing Delivers 112 Commercial Aircraft in 3Q, 2022 – 328 Aircraft Delivered in 9 Months
Boeing, in its third quarter 2022 results, indicates 112 commercial aircraft deliveries which is 27 higher than the same period last year. Total commercial aircraft delivery from January to September is at 328 vis-a-vis 241 of last year.
“We continue to make important strides in our turnaround and remain focused on our performance,” said Dave Calhoun, Boeing President and Chief Executive Officer.
The US global aircraft manufacturer has also resumed the B787 deliveries. The program is producing at a low rate with an expected gradual return to five per month over time.
During the quarter, the company secured net orders for 227 aircraft, including 167 737 airplanes, 27 767 airplanes, 18 777 airplanes, and 15 787 airplanes.
