Boeing Delivers 171 Commercial Aircraft in Second Quarter 2026

USA – Boeing delivered 171 commercial aircraft and 35 defense, space and security units during the second quarter of 2026. The commercial total was 14% higher than a year earlier, adding aircraft induction and associated pilot, cabin crew and maintenance training requirements across customer fleets.

• Boeing’s commercial aircraft deliveries were:
  • 737: 129 in Q2; 243 year to date.
  • 767: 10 in Q2; 16 year to date.
  • 777: seven in Q2; 15 year to date.
  • 787: 25 in Q2; 40 year to date.
  • Total: 171 in Q2; 314 year to date.
• Commercial deliveries increased from 150 in Q2 2025 to 171 in Q2 2026. First-half deliveries rose from 280 to 314 aircraft.
• The 737 accounted for 75% of Boeing’s Q2 commercial deliveries. Quarterly 737 handovers increased by 25 aircraft, or 24%, compared with Q2 2025.
• Widebody deliveries comprised 10 767s, seven 777s and 25 787s during the quarter. The 787 total increased from 24 a year earlier, while 777 deliveries declined from 13.
• Boeing’s defense, space and security deliveries were:
  • AH-64 Apache, new: six in Q2; eight year to date.
  • AH-64 Apache, remanufactured: nine in Q2; 24 year to date.
  • CH-47 Chinook, new: four in Q2; five year to date.
  • CH-47 Chinook, renewed: two in Q2; three year to date.
  • F-15 models: three in Q2; four year to date.
  • F/A-18 models: three in Q2; five year to date.
  • KC-46 tanker: four in Q2; eight year to date.
  • MH-139: three in Q2; five year to date.
  • P-8 models: one in Q2; two year to date.
  • Commercial and civil satellites: none in Q2; one year to date.
  • Total: 35 in Q2; 65 year to date.
• AFM previously reported that Boeing delivered 143 commercial aircraft in Q1 2026, including 114 737s and 15 787s. Q2 deliveries were 28 aircraft higher than the first-quarter total.
