Boeing Highlights Managing a CBTA-EBT Program — 5-Day Course for Airline Training Leaders

March 25, 2026

Global – Boeing Global Services has launched the Managing a CBTA-EBT Program — a five-day executive training course designed to equip airline training leaders with the competencies, strategies, and implementation skills needed to deploy Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) and Evidence-Based Training (EBT) frameworks across their flight operations.

  • The programme is targeted specifically at senior aviation training leadership: heads of training, directors of training, safety managers, training managers, and directors of flight operations — roles whose engagement with CBTA-EBT implementation is identified as operationally critical to successful airline-wide training transformation.
  • The course is structured around four core competency areas:
    • Strategy and planning (aligning training with safety goals and developing CBTA strategies)
    • Leadership and communication (boosting personnel confidence and improving training productivity)
    • CBTA training policy, systems and delivery (defining roles, standardising training methods, and evaluating pilot performance)
    • Safety management systems and data analysis (managing safety risks, building safety culture, and using data to drive training improvements).
  • Course highlights include comprehensive modules covering global safety strategies, training philosophies, and safety management systems; practical applications and case studies; a project-based final presentation; and an educational platform providing interactive and immersive learning with consultation services — with all participants receiving a certificate of completion upon conclusion.
  • The program is priced at $4,000 per participant and delivered in-person, facilitator-led, at Boeing's global training campuses — with 2026 availability at:
    • Singapore Campus, 1–5 June
    • Gatwick Campus, 13–17 July
    • Seattle Campus, 7–11 September
  • Registration is conducted through the MyBoeingTraining (MBT) portal, which requires an active General Terms Agreement.
