Boeing Launches 4th 737 MAX Assembly Line in Everett

July 8, 2026

Washington, USA – Boeing puts a fourth 737 MAX final-assembly line into operation at its Everett, Washington complex, the first time the aircraft has been assembled outside its traditional Renton facility. The expansion directly shapes the pace at which airlines receive new 737 MAX deliveries with downstream implications for the timing of pilot type-rating and training demand at carriers awaiting these aircraft as Boeing scales toward its longer-term production goals.

  • The Everett North Line targets more than 47 aircraft per month, part of Boeing's longer-term goal of reaching 63 737s per month.
  • AFM previously reported in February 2026 that Boeing was producing 38 737s per month, increasing to 42, with Vice President and 737 Program General Manager Katie Ringgold targeting 47 aircraft per month.
  • Boeing previously hit a peak of 63 per month in 2019.
  • Boeing's May deliveries comprised 51 737 Max narrowbody jets and six 787 Dreamliner widebody aircraft, with the remaining three deliveries across other types.
