Boeing Records 314 First-Half Deliveries, Highest Since 2018

USA – aircraft manufacturer Boeing delivered 314 commercial aircraft during the first half of 2026, a 12% year-on-year increase and its highest first-half total since 2018. The 243 Boeing 737-family and 40 Boeing 787 deliveries recorded through June expand the volume of aircraft entering airline fleets and the associated demand for pilot qualification, differences and recurrent training.

• First-half deliveries (314 aircraft in total) comprised:
  • 243 Boeing 737-family aircraft
  • 40 Boeing 787s
  • 16 Boeing 767s
  • 15 Boeing 777s
• Boeing delivered 64 aircraft in June, compared with 60 in May and 60 in June 2025. The monthly total comprised
  • 43x B737s
  • 13x B787s
  • 5x 767s
  • 3x 777 freighters
• Five of the month’s 787-9 deliveries went to Saudi Arabian carrier Riyadh Air. United Airlines received seven 737 MAX aircraft and one 787-9, while Southwest Airlines received five 737 MAXs.
• Boeing is increasing monthly 737 production from 42 to 47 aircraft as it works to raise deliveries during the second half of 2026.
• The manufacturer recorded 121 gross orders in June, including
  • 108x 737 MAXs
  • 4x 737-800A
  • 4x 777 freighters
  • 5x 777X
  • Eight cancellations resulted in 113 net orders for the month.
• Boeing had recorded 408 orders after cancellations and conversions through June.
• Cumulative 737 MAX orders reached 7,206, exceeding the 7,159 orders recorded for the preceding 737 Next Generation family.
• AFM previously reported that Boeing delivered 143 commercial aircraft during the first quarter of 2026 and received initial FAA and EASA qualification for Boeing 777-9 training devices ahead of the aircraft’s planned entry into service.
