Brazil – EPA Training Center, the Brazilian ANAC-approved pilot training and simulator center, has expanded its course portfolio with a new Controlled Flight Into Terrain (CFIT) prevention training course, approved by Brazil's National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) and compliant with RBAC No. 135.

  • The CFIT training course is designed to educate and raise awareness among flight crews on preventing controlled flight into terrain accidents — one of the leading categories of fatal aviation accidents globally.
  • The course covers enhancement of crew situational awareness, reinforcement of compliance with operational procedures, correct use of terrain awareness warning systems (TAWS/EGPWS), and effective application of Crew Resource Management (CRM) principles.
