Curitiba, Brazil – EPA Training Center, a leading regional full flight simulator training center in LATAM, has highlighted its recognition as a Strategic Defense Company (Empresa Estratégica de Defesa – EED) by the Brazilian Ministry of Defense, underscoring the national significance of its flight simulation capabilities for defense operations. This designation highlights EPA’s vital role in enhancing the operational readiness of Brazil’s Armed Forces.

The recognition stems from the strategic importance of EPA’s simulators for the C97 Brasília and C99/E99/R99 (ERJ-145) aircraft platforms, which are actively used in defense missions.
-
This accreditation by the Joint Defense Industry Commission (CMID) was formalized on April 26, 2016, marking EPA’s official inclusion in Brazil’s national defense framework.
