Czech Republic – BRM AERO, the Czech Republic-based manufacturer of Bristell aircraft, has announced plans to integrate Garmin's newly launched AXIS integrated flight display across its product range, with planned availability from Q4 2026 for the Classic line and Q2 2027 for the B23 family, subject to certification for each model and market.

  • Garmin AXIS integrates NAV/COMM radio and audio panel into the flight display itself, replacing a full radio stack with a single screen while retaining the interface familiar to pilots currently using Garmin G3X Touch.
  • Bristell currently fits the Garmin G3X Touch across its aircraft range; AXIS represents the next-generation upgrade path.
  • Planned availability is Q4 2026 for the Classic line and Q2 2027 for the B23 family, with both timelines subject to certification for each model and market.
  • On the certified B23 family, AXIS opens the path to a built-in IFR GPS once approved for the specific configuration, potentially expanding the B23's utility for instrument training.
  • The AXIS safety suite includes safe taxi, a dedicated emergency button, and enhanced synthetic vision.
