United Kingdom – UK-based airline simulator assessment preparation provider Motion Flight Techniques Limited has reported that a group of newly qualified Skyborne Airline Academy pilots successfully passed their TUI simulator assessments following preparation sessions with the company. The activity reflects the role of specialist simulator training providers in supporting newly qualified commercial pilots progressing through airline recruitment processes.

Eight Skyborne graduates received simulator assessment preparation over three days, with Motion Flight Techniques Managing Director Alan Carter confirming that all eight subsequently passed their TUI simulator assessments, representing a 100% pass rate for the group.
Following the Skyborne training sessions, Motion Flight Techniques announced plans to prepare pilots from Leading Edge Aviation for upcoming TUI simulator assessments.
Motion Flight Techniques provides airline assessment preparation through instructor-led simulator sessions, pre-simulator briefings and exercises tailored to individual pilot experience and airline selection requirements.
TUI's pilot selection process includes simulator assessments, with successful candidates potentially progressing into the airline's pilot talent pool. Final employment offers remain dependent on the airline's operational recruitment requirements.
AFM previously reported that Skyborne Airline Academy established a pilot career pathway with TUI in January 2025, allowing selected trainees to receive conditional employment offers during their training.
Motion Flight Techniques offers Boeing 737-800NG and Airbus A320 fixed-base simulators for procedural, aircraft handling and Line-Oriented Flight Training (LOFT) exercises, alongside access to Level D Full Flight Simulators for Boeing 737NG, 747-400, 777 and 787 aircraft and Airbus A320 and A330 aircraft.
