Czech Republic – BRM AERO, the Czech Republic-based manufacturer of Bristell aircraft, delivers 54 aircraft in the first half of 2026, all built at its Kunovice facility. The delivery pace, combined with new EASA and FAA certifications and the upcoming FAA MOSAIC rule change opening the B23 family to US Sport Pilots, positions BRM AERO to capture additional demand in the global flight training, light-sport and IFR training aircraft market.

  • The EASA approves direct lightning strike protection for the IFR-certified Bristell B23-915 IFR during the same period, with a further certification project already under way.
  • Effective July 24, 2026, new FAA MOSAIC rules make the Bristell B23 family available to Sport Pilots in the United States, following the B23's FAA certification in September 2025.
  • BRM AERO reports more than 1,200 Bristell aircraft now flying in over 40 countries.
  • AFM previously reported that BRM AERO was selected by South Korea's Defense Acquisition Program Administration in February 2026 to deliver Bristell aircraft, including Cockpit Procedure Trainers, for a multi-year Republic of Korea Air Force pilot training program with phased deliveries from 2026 to 2028.
