USA – Bye Aerospace and Electro.Aero have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025 to jointly develop portable fast-charging solutions for the eFlyer fleet, aiming to accelerate the adoption of electric aircraft in the pilot training sector.
Partnership merges Bye Aerospace’s electric propulsion expertise with Electro.Aero’s portable charging technology.
Electro.Aero’s chargers:
40kW and 80kW single-cable portable models.
240kW dual-cable portable model enabling simultaneous charging of two aircraft in under 30 minutes.
Charging systems designed to improve aircraft utilisation rates and reduce operational downtime for flight schools, leasing operators, and private owners.
Bye Aerospace nearing completion of its full-scale eFlyer 2 prototype at Centennial Airport (KAPA), Colorado, with first flight approaching.
