10th Jul 2023

Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates based cabin crew simulator manufacturer Spatial Composite Solutions announced it is thrilled with the successful completion of the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) on its A220 Door Trainer for Qantas.

“It was an absolute pleasure to welcome representatives from Qantas to our facility as we demonstrated the capabilities of their new training device,” said Spatial Composite Solutions.

Built using Airbus data, the A220 door trainer boasts features that will elevate the Qantas Cabin Crew’s training experience. Replicating all the functionalities of an actual A220 main door and OWE (Over Wing Exit), and with its realistic visuals, the device enables crew members to master all aspects of normal operations and effectively handle abnormal and emergency scenarios that could be encountered with this door type.

Advanced capabilities include provision for decompression training and flight attendant control systems training, with a complete communication system.

“We extend our appreciation to Qantas for choosing our facility and entrusting us with the delivery of this state-of-the-art A220 Door Trainer. We are honored to be part of Qantas’ commitment to providing exceptional training opportunities for their valued Cabin Crew,” said Spatial Composite Solutions.
