Nevada, USA – Canadian aviation training and simulation provider CAE has announced the addition of four full-flight simulators (FFS) to its business aviation training network across the Americas. Announced at the 2026 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in Las Vegas on 20 October 2026, the additional devices are now available for pilot training, increasing access to simulator capacity for business jet operators.
- The four additional full-flight simulators support the Bombardier Global 6500, Embraer Praetor 600, Pilatus PC-24 and Cessna Citation CJ4.
- CAE's global business aviation training network now comprises more than 130 full-flight simulators and approximately 1,000 instructors, delivering over 300,000 training hours annually. The company reports that its business aviation training capacity has nearly doubled over the past decade.
- The additional capacity is intended to support initial and recurrent pilot training for operators across the Americas, increasing regional availability and potentially reducing the need for flight crews to travel to more distant training centres.
- CAE's Aviation Talent Forecast projects demand for 102,000 new business aviation professionals worldwide by 2034, comprising 33,000 pilots and 69,000 aircraft maintenance technicians. The company is using these projections to guide investment in its training network.
- CAE is presenting its business aviation training capabilities at Booth 3732 during NBAA-BACE, held from 20–22 October 2026 in Las Vegas. Its business aviation training portfolio includes simulator-based pilot qualification and recurrent training, aircraft maintenance technician instruction and operator-specific training programs.
